About the Instructor
I grew up in a Spanish-speaking household in Miami, with Colombian parents. It wasn't until I started school (1st grade) that I learned English.
Being Bilingual has opened my doors for me. One of my biggest accomplishments was working in the Peace Corps in Panama, as a sustainable agriculture volunteer. My secondary work there was to teach english. This experience opened my eyes and heart to teaching.
Upon my return to the States in 09, I began giving private Spanish and English classes, as well as working for Berlitz, an international Language Center. Along with teaching, I work as a private translator.
